Risk Management

All lines P&C, including Workers Compensation, D&O, ERISA, outsourced Risk Management support to major Commercial Real Estate company during market dislocation due to CAT and terrorism events; full support during acquisition of significant portfolio for combined $8 Billion total asset portfolio; led broker RFP, captive management, supported ultimate sale of portfolio, then worked with legacy management team to support insurance of new properties and new entity.

2006-2011: Pilot Re Consulting: 6 years – ongoing engagement

Captive Feasibility, Formation and Management

Evaluated, designed and formed CAT and terrorism captive for large commercial real estate company, providing economic cost-benefit analysis and full financials during formation. Researched and recommended U.S. state domicile; provided management of underwriting and captive operations for two years.

Underwriting Department – Review & Analysis

Underwriting department review proposal to assess and analyze company Underwriting Guidelines, Field Underwriting adherence to and use of guidelines, field UW understanding of guidelines, compliance with procedures and guidelines established by company.

  • Identify individuals and areas of non-compliance within Field Underwriting staff
